Guided Wilderness Hunts

Our Standard hunt is conducted with one licensed guide per two hunters. One on one hunts are also available.

• Spring Black Bear Hunts

Spring black bear hunts take place in May. We hunt snow slide areas, gated roads and old burns that are just turning green. We use a variety of transportation and accommodations.

 

• Fall Big Game Hunting

Fall big game hunts are for elk, mule deer, black bear, moose, bighorn sheep, mountain lion and mountain goat. Outfitters are guaranteed elk, deer, mountain lion and black bear licenses for clients. Drawings are held for the moose, sheep and goat.

Hunts are five to ten days and are run out of a base camp with a cook tent, sleeping tents with cots, pads, wood stoves and lanterns, and an outhouse. Snowy Springs has five base camps. The season, weather and game movement determine which camp is used. Our main transportation on these hunts are by mule, horse and on foot.
