Montana Fishing Trips

Montana fly fishing near Glacier National Park

Montana is great fly fishing country, and no visit to Glacier National Park would be complete without trying your luck catching our native Westslope cutthroat and rainbow trout. Fish the Wilderness section of the Middle Fork of the Flathead River, high alpine lakes, and smaller creeks. The best time is July through August after the spring runoff and once the rivers have cleared from the spring runoff. Small rafts and float tubes can be used on the lakes. Our guides are here to assist, and will bring or recommend flies to catch the big ones!

Montana Fly Fishing – $350 – $600 per person
(minimum age 6)

Fish Montana’s famous blue ribbon waters. We offer a full day trail ride with options of fishing the Middle Fork of the Flathead River ($350 per person) or an alpine lake ($600 per person). From Base Camp, you will ride horseback into the Bob Marshall Wilderness to the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. Or ride high into the mountains of Montana to a pristine alpine lake where the fish are jumping! The emphasis of these trips is fishing for our native Westslope Cutthroat and rainbow trout, but the horseback ride to get to the fish is just as spectacular as the catch! A Montana fishing license is required and may be purchased at https://app.mt.gov/als/index/index.html.

Specialty Trips – $550 per person per day
